While Harry and Gene were loading the truck Toni heard her phone ringing and went to answer it.

She was surprised that it was her mother.

She told her that she, Toni’s siblings, and her son would be coming to visit in a couple of weeks. After speaking with Toni she handed the phone to Toni’s son.

It felt so good to hear his voice.
He told his mother how he was playing Super Boy.

After speaking to her loved ones all Toni could think about was her mother and son.

How her mother had made most of her maternity clothes and just how small Luke was when he visited his grandmother’s home for the very first time.

Now he is there playing Super Boy.

Toni’s mother had told her some of the best news she had heard in a long time! Toni couldn’t wait to see her son. She missed him so much. Although she missed her family, there was just something very unnatural about a mother being separated from her child. Things were moving right along in a positive direction. Harry and Toni had ended their relationship on a good note.
Toni had been able to create ways to stay in touch with her son and family even though she refused to get a phone for an entire year. So now, Gene felt it was time for Toni to meet his mother…Oh boy was she in for a treat!
