While the family played cards, Toni and Luke went out for a little "one on one." They talked about going swimming, but Luke wasn't that fond of the water. Toni thought of a few other things for them to do, but he didn't seem interested. Then it came to her, "I know exactly what you would love to do". Toni knew of a kiddy car track not far from their apartment building, she decided to take him there. When Luke saw it he could hardly contain himself. That made his mother smile as she tried to get him to the ticket gate as soon as possible. Once he was coming down the track, he started waving to his mother; he was "All smiles." What a happy little boy!

After they returned home Luke asked his mother if he could spend the night at Aunt Lucille's house. Toni asked, "Why, are your cousins coming over?" Luke smiled and said, "Yes ma'am." Then his mother said, "Sure you can." Luke showed his excitement by giving his mother a big hug and a kiss while saying "I love you momma." Toni replied, "I love you too, Lukie Flukie." After Toni's parents left, the girls and their better halves decided they wanted to go out for the evening and Toni knew just where to take them. It was the place to go when you wanted to see "The who's who of Florida," and usually the spot where celebrities from "All walks of life" liked to hang out. The only problem was the club wasn't in Jacksonville it was located about an hour and forty-five minutes away. The guys thought it would be cool to go and mingle with the rich and famous.

As soon as they walked through the door Dovie spotted a couple of NFL players from Cincinnati and Miami, she ran right over to tell Toni and Gene. Dovie was so excited, and Toni just smiled, she was happy that her sister was enjoying herself. Seeing football players wasn't that big of a deal for Toni because she wasn't interested in the game. Toni had dated a professional football player a year before moving to Jacksonville, and not once did she attend one of his games. Toni just didn't care for football, but she did, however, go to watch him during the off-season when he played basketball for fundraisers. "Go figure." When Toni looked around she spotted a couple of actors and singers. Now this was a big deal for Toni, and that's when she started to get excited. Then she decided to scope the rest of the room looking for other actors and singers, but she only saw city and government officials, who appeared to be having a good time.

After talking with Gene for a while, Toni glanced at the entrance of the club and spotted a few more celebrities coming through the door. She then realized that there were more celebrities in the club that night than usual. After asking a few people what was going on, she found out that it was one of the officials' birthday, and most of the celebrities came to celebrate with him.

Bobby and Barbara were sitting down when suddenly Bobby realized that there were a few famous people standing right behind them.

That's when Bobby said to Barbara "Now we're going to ease up from our seat, and whatever you do, don't turn around and look, there are some very famous people standing right behind us." So what does Barbara do, she turns around!

Once she saw who they were, she became so tickled, then she said "Oh my goodness this is just too much fun." Bobby laughs then replied, "I don't know her," as the celebrities looked on. Then Barbara turned and faced Bobby to give him a high five.

Bobby replied, "OK hot shot, well since we're standing here looking silly, how about a dance?" Barbara said, "Sure, if you think you can handle this", while she gestured her hands over her body. Bobby said "No, but I'll have fun trying".

Dovie and George were beginning to feel the beat, so George stood up, took Dovie by the hand, and lead her to the dance floor.

After they left the dance floor, Bobby walked over to his sisters and asked them to take a picture with him.

When the photographer handed them the picture, Toni's face was the only one that didn't come out as well as the others. Needless to say she was not happy. After her brother stopped laughing, he said "Your face, it broke the camera." Toni looked at Bobby and then gave him the evil eye and then they all started laughing. When the guys came over, all six of them posed for pictures. Right before the camera snapped, Toni said, "OK don't forget to hold in those stomachs."

Once the pictures were developed, they were given to Toni. After looking at them she said, "I told you to hold in your stomachs, I did not say push your butts out." Dovie asked, "Why is it that you can find all the mistakes in pictures"? Toni handed Dovie and Barbara the pictures to look at. Dovie and Barbara started laughing then Dovie said "That's exactly what we did." Now everybody knows that the more we drink the friendlier we get. So Toni told Gene that she wanted to have a picture taken with one of the celebrities and his wife. Gene went with Toni to ask the couple if they would mind taking a picture with them. The couple said, "We would love to." Toni looked at the celebrity in disbelief then said, "This is really tripping me out." His wife said, "Who, him?" Toni replied, "It's not that I can see him, it's that he can see me." Then they all started laughing. His wife replied, "I never thought about it like that."

Toni said, "OK, now it is time to party." Everyone went to the dance floor and the line dancing began.
